Accessibility statement

Last updated: August 2026

1. Commitment

SMECO is committed to making its website smeco.es accessible in line with the applicable web accessibility regulations and with the relevant international standards.

This accessibility statement applies to the website smeco.es and all of its content.

2. Conformance status

This website is partially conformant with standard EN 301 549 and with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, due to the exceptions and lack of conformance listed in the following section.

3. Non-accessible content

Some project images may not yet have complete alternative text describing their content.

Embedded third-party content (for example, maps) depends on the external provider accessibility and is outside our direct control.

4. Measures taken

A hierarchical, correctly ordered heading structure on every page, with a single first-level heading per page.

Sufficient colour contrast between text and background, full keyboard navigation and a visible focus state on interactive elements.

Alternative text on logos and informative images, with decorative elements marked as such for screen readers.

A responsive layout that allows text to be enlarged up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.

5. Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared in June 2025 through a self-assessment carried out by the team responsible for the website, reviewing semantic structure, contrast, keyboard navigation and screen-reader behaviour.

6. Feedback and contact details

You can report any difficulty accessing content, accessibility issue or request for information in an alternative format by writing to info@smeco.es or calling +34 957 45 51 17.

We will respond as quickly as possible and, in any case, within the periods established by the applicable regulations.
